Dr. Brenda S. Houmard is dedicated to supporting individuals through the emotional journey of fertility treatment, considering it one of the most gratifying aspects of her work. She finds great reward in meeting patients for the first time and instilling hope that their experiences will lead to success.

Education
Dr. Houmard completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellowship training under SRM founding partners Dr. Nancy Klein and Dr. Michael Soules. Her research has been recognized with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine/Ortho-McNeil Award and participation in the NIH-NICHD and Wyeth-Ayerst Reproductive Scientist Development Program. She has received numerous local and national educational awards throughout her academic and teaching careers.

Dr. Houmard has published in esteemed professional journals such as Fertility & Sterility, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has also contributed chapters to four professional-level books addressing female reproductive issues. Dr. Houmard is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, and the Seattle Gynecologic Society. Additionally, she is a founding member of the Spokane OBGYN Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the Spokane County Medical Society.

Dr. Houmard sees patients at the Spokane location and remains passionate about improving the fertility journey for her patients through compassionate care and education.
