Dr. Gerard S. Letterie is a dedicated reproductive endocrinologist who finds profound meaning in helping others build their families. He strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel engaged, embraced, and heard throughout their treatment journey. His goal is to ensure that each individual explores all options available, achieving peace with their outcomes.

Education
Dr. Letterie brings decades of esteemed service and expertise to SRM following the merger with Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences. He is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and is a fellow and diplomat of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Physicians. He completed his REI Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and began his medical career in the United States Army Medical Corps, serving 12 years of active duty and eight years of reserve duty.
From 1991 to 2003, Dr. Letterie practiced as a clinical reproductive endocrinologist at the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Virginia Mason Medical Center. He continues to serve as a consultant at Madigan Army Medical Center and holds an associate clinical professor position in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington.

Dr. Letterie has been recognized as a leading infertility practitioner by the Puget Sound Consumers Guide and is listed in the Guide to America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists (2004–2005) by the Consumers Research Council of America. He has also been named one of Seattle’s Top Docs for several consecutive years.
Personal
Dr. Letterie sees patients at the Seattle location and maintains a passion for fitness, exercising regularly. He is an avid sculler, often on the water by 5:00 AM four days a week. Additionally, he enjoys creative writing, reflecting his diverse interests both in and out of the medical field.
